One time bar for the past

Which database versions are supported?
LAB256 supports Oracle Database 12c, 18c, 19c, 21c and 23ai (including RAC and Data Guard), as well as PostgreSQL 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
Do I need to install anything on the database server?
No. LAB256 is 100% agentless: it connects over JDBC directly to your Oracle or PostgreSQL database with a read-only user. The impact on the server is a few light queries against the performance views, at the interval you choose.
How does the trial period work?
The trial offers 30 days with all features enabled and unlimited connections. No credit card required.
What PostgreSQL features are supported?
LAB256 provides real-time monitoring for PostgreSQL including active sessions, query performance via pg_stat_statements, lock analysis, storage usage and custom alerts — all with the same 1-second resolution.
What privileges are required?
For Oracle, LAB256 needs SELECT on V$ views and DBA_* views. For PostgreSQL, it requires access to pg_stat views. We recommend creating a dedicated read-only user.
Where is data stored?
All data is stored locally on your computer, in a history file encrypted at rest. SQL text is only kept if you switch it on. No data leaves your network.
Does it work with cloud databases?
Yes. LAB256 works with Oracle and PostgreSQL in any environment: on-premises, Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure Database, Google Cloud SQL and other managed services.
How does it compare to Oracle Enterprise Manager?
